This section explains how to use the features found on our site. It may change
from time to time as questions arise about using our Web site.
About China Miss Membership
There are three membership types:
Women - Always have free.
Male Paid - Can choose to upgrade to one of four packages.
Male Trial - Initial sign up with limited privileges.
All Women who sign up, do so for free.
Men can sign up for Free but have limited privileges. Male members can
choose to upgrade after signing up.
Membership Upgrades
The following are the upgrade options available for male members:
Five-Day Membership
Thirty-Day Membership
Three-Month Membership
Six-Month Membership
One-year Membership
Naturally, the longer you sign up the better the discount. You can cancel
your account at anytime online. When you cancel, your account is removed, but
you can sign up again at anytime.
Once you cancel your account,
you may still receive our Newsletter. You can remove your email address by entering your email address in the Newsletter Sign Up text box, then click Submit and follow the instructions.
Important: You cannot sign up as a female member and
contact other female members. The software prevents this. Likewise, male members
cannot contact other male members for obvious reasons.
Signing Up
From the home page, click Sign-Up.
When registration screen appears fill in all required fields and click
Submit.
When your receive an confirmation email message, click on the link to confirm
your email address
Our staff will review your ad and activate your account.
Once activated, you can logon and complete your profile.
Completing Your Profile
After the initial registration, you will want to complete your profile as
completely. Doing so helps others find your profile using the profile
search feature. Adding one or more photographs can also help your chances of
finding someone. See Adding Photographs and Video.
Some items in your profile are private and are never shown or given to anyone.
These include your street address, telephone number and email address. You
can change these or remove them. Required items include your State/Province
and Country.
Changing Your Settings
Once you register, you can change your account settings. Here you can choose
the between English and Chinese (not all items will be changed to Chinese,
only the main menu options). You can choose if you want your profile private
or public. To modify your account settings:
Logon to your account and click My Profile.
Click Account, Profile or Settings and make your changes.
If you change your email address, you will need to
reactivate your account. The system will send you email message with a link
to confirm your email address. You can change the default language from English to Chinese in Settings or use the country flag icons at the top of the page to switch between languages. Not all items are translated. It mainly applies to the menu options.
All members have the option to change who can view their profile by selecting
one of the following in the Settings option:
Nobody - No one can see your profile. However, you can
show up in a search, that displays your picture and profile summary, but
they cannot view your complete profile.
Members - Only members with full privileges can view your
complete profile.
Upgrading Your Account
This is for Male Member only. Once you sign up, you can search the gallery
of ladies, but you cannot contact them, unless you upgrade your account. The
women, however, can send you messages. Before you can reply to their messages,
you must upgrade your account.. To Upgrade:
Logon to your account and
click Upgrade.
Select one of the available upgrade packages and click Continue.
When prompted, enter your credit card information or select
PayPal and enter your PayPal email address and password.
China Miss accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover, as well
as PayPal. You account does not automatically renew.
You will be notified before your account ends to renew. If you you do not upgrade, you
are returned to the Trial Membership status. You can cancel your account at
anytime. Canceling Your Account
To cancel your account:
Logon to your account and click My Profile.
Click Account and click Cancel.
Select Yes, when prompted.
When you cancel your account is is removed. You can always sign up again.
Forgot Password
If you forgot your logon information, go to the home page and click Forgot
Password. You will receive email that explains how to reset your password. Adding Photos and Videos
To upload a photograph or video, click the appropriate button after logging
on.. Click Add Picture or Add Video. As a
full member, you can add up to ten photographs and two videos.
Photo Requirements
Minimum picture size
is: 180 px x 140 px
Maximum picture size is: 350 px by 350 px
Maximum file size is: 100 kb
File types are: JPG or GIF
Note: If you have a problem
with the system cropping your image in the thumbnail,
you may need to resize the picture or change it. The picture is not cut
off in the full size view. This feature is used to make all thumbnail images
the same size for display purposes. If you cannot make the changes, send your
photo to us and we will size and place the photo online. Please make sure you
give us your registered name or the link so we can find your profile.
Videos Requirements
Maximum File Size is 2MB
Standard PC Video Type.
Video files, especially with sound can be very
large. If you use a small format (screen size), you can create a longer video.
At this time we allow up to five photographs and one video file. If you
have private photos you only want to show to someone special, you can add a password to your photos.. This is the best way
to post photos that you do not want to share with everyone.
Real-Time Chat
This feature only works if there at least two members of the Opposite Sex
online. When browsing profiles, if you see the following image in
the person's profile, it
indicates that the person is online. Go to the person's profile and
click Chat.
Of course, the person can choose not to chat.
Instant Messages
There are several methods of sending a message to another member. You can
send a quick message that are preformatted such as Wink, Wink to let them know
you are interested. You can also send a private message, similar to email to
a member. When you receive a message you can choose to respond or ignore the
message. You can delete messages from your profile.
Creating a Blog
You are welcome to create your own blog. To start a blog:
Log on and click Blog
Click Add Entry
If you want, you can add a photo to your blog.
Be nice in your Blog. It is not a place to sell items,
advertise or solicit members in any way, or make your personal contact information
availble.We
always caution against sharing your real email address or contacting those
by regular email who post their email address on line. Use your Blog as a way
to share your life, your culture, your ideas or opinions, offer points of view,
information about your home town or any interests you may have. For example,
if you go to China, use the Blog to share your experience
with others. Once again, be polite follow our code of ethics. Your can report those who
abuse the Blog privileges on our contact page.
Using the Guest Book
The Guest book is a list of members who have vitiated your profile and signed
your guest book. Member have the right
to approve and delete Guest book entries. Visitors also provides a list of
the last 15 member who have reviewed your profile. Only you can view the Visitor
information.
Blocking a
Member
You have the right to block any members who you do not wish to contact you..
You can also unblock them. When you block a member, they can no longer contact
you by any method. Unless, of course, you gave them your actual personal email address.
Once again, we caution you to refrain from giving out your actual email address
and use our Web site to contact member. Beside your ability
to block members, China Miss has the ability to block members from the Web
site who do not follow Code of Conduct or Terms of Services. You can report
abuse on our Contact page as well as a link in the lower right corner of their profile.
Reporting Abuse
You may run across member who do not comply with our Terms of Service or with
our Code of Ethics. To report someone's profile, you can go to the bottom of
their profile. Click on the link that says Report and select a reason for reporting.
Do not report someone because they won't communicate with you. It must be a
serious reason. We will contact you for more details, if warranted. The current
reasons listed in the drop-down are: Sexually Explicit, Mature Content, Terms
of Service Violation, Graphic Violence or Hate Speech. If you want to post
mature photos, remember that you can post them, but note they are for adult
and then password protect them. That way, only the persons that you want to
see will see them. This way you do not offend anyone.
We hope that everyone abides by the rules in the Code of Conduct and the Terms
of Service. We take all complaints seriously and monitor the site to prevent abuse. But, as in any system, nothing is foolproof.
If you find someone contacting you that appears to be a scam, trying to sell
you something, using this Web site for purposes other than intended, please
let us know. We will investigate all complaints of abuse.

The best way to contact us is throught the online contact form to prevent email from being mistakenly identified as spam. You are welcome to send email or call. If calling, please leave your phone number and the best time to reach you if you would like a return phone call.
